Fruits of the Spirit (F.O.S) is a female contemporary Hip Hop/ R&B gospel duo composed of Christy Price and Savoy Edwards. These ladies both come from a deep, musically rooted background and has been singing and songwriting since early childhood. Savoy was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Arlington, TX after being adopted by her grandmother. Christy was born in Henderson, TX and was raised by her mother alongside her siblings. Her passion for music led to her joining and being an active member of her high school band. F.O.S.’s humble and creative beginnings ignited just the spark needed to bring forth the powerful group we see today “Fruits of the Spirit”. When asked what prompted them to start creating Christian Hip Hop, they said “knowing God’s love since an early age and after experiencing his grace and mercy in our lives of sin inspired us to share our testimony through Christian music.” The duo first met in Fort Worth, Texas while singing in a church choir in 2017. While writing songs together for their choir, they realized how amazing their chemistry was, so they found that it was only right that they form a group. The duo obtained its name “Fruits of the Spirit” from the Bible which represents the spirit of God. With sounds heavily influenced by industry giants Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Lecrae, Kirk Franklin, Canton Spirituals and Bryann T, F.O.S.’s music positively impacts the way listeners see and view God. F.O.S.’s upcoming single titled “Fruits of the Spirit” will be released in 2022, followed by their debut album “Mighty King”, where both projects will be available on all digital media outlets. F.O.S. creates music with the hope of uplifting all and telling the world about The Most High God and his extreme goodness.
